On April 4-5, 2022, the Kick-off Meeting of the recently approved European project DisFinLit took place in Madrid, in face-to-face mode.

The first focus groups were conducted by all partners.
Knowledge and experiences have been shared with other experts in the field in order to serve the ultimate goal of this project, which is none other than the training of young people with disabilities in sustainable finance and management.
A key point for the next steps for the development of the activities of the first outcome.
The DisFinLit project has developed the Compendium of good practices on sustainable financial literacy for young people with disabilities. This compendium provides comprehensive contributions focusing on the development of sustainable financial literacy skills for young people with disabilities from the Netherlands, Italy, Malta and Spain, as well as an international perspective (within and outside the EU).
On October 25-26, 2022, the DisFinLit project met for the second time in Rome, Italy. The Italian partner, Effebi, hosted the meeting. All partners presented the results of their focus groups and the results of the first projects. The next steps for the focus groups is the outcome of project 2: The creation of the stakeholder community in Europe. IEF presented the website and explained how the materials created and adapted in the project will be part of this website. The next transnational meeting of the project will take place in Münster (Germany) and will be organized by ACEEU.

All the second and third focus group are conducted by all partners.
During the meeting they discussed the state of the art of existing educational materials; determined which skills and competences should be offered in the DisFinLit training curriculum; and finally, identified the Learning Objectives in line with the EU LLL instruments for people with disabilities.
On April 17th and 18th, 2023 the DisFinLit project consortium met for the third time in Muenster, Germany. The german partner,
ACEEU, hosted the meeting. This third face-to-face meeting was attended by all the representative members of the project consortium:
CONACEE, Effebi, IEF, DFW2W and EURODIMENSIONS.

Are you currently familiar with any existing educational materials or good practices related to sustainable finance or financial literacy for individuals with learning issues ?
On the 20th and 21st of November the DisFinLit consortium held its last TPM organized by the IEF. All the representative members of the project consortium attended: CONACEE, Effebi, ACEEU, DFW2W and EURODIMENSIONS.
The project agenda was completed as planned and the #DisFinLitCommunity during this last month of activity will be actively promoted to generate more impact on society and the project target group!
